Club Newsletter December 2014

Merry Christmas and have a very Happy New Year!

1) As this year comes to an end and 2015 begins, our Sylva Photo Club will have new leadership chaired by Diane Jettinghoff.  As the founder and chairperson of our photo club since September 2013, we have seen the growth of our club and have enjoyed many activities, programs, two photo contests, multiple community photography events; all with lots of membership participation. Diane brings to the club leadership strong visionary direction and new vitality. She is putting into place a leadership team that will make the club function even better and promises to grow our membership even further.  I am stepping down due to many other activities that demand my attention but I will still be involved with the club whenever I have the time.  Please give Diane and her leadership team your support and lets make 2015 even better then ever!

2)  Our January photo theme is “Winter Season”.   I wanted to get this out to you during the holiday season so you may keep this theme in mind in the Christmas and New Year celebrations.  Get your creative juices flowing and let’s see some great images at our January 10th meeting.

3)  Our new meeting place is at the Cullowhee Methodist Church at WCU and January 10 is the second Saturday of the month for our meeting at 2-4 PM with the Camera Talk hour switched to the end of the meeting.

Have  a safe and wonder holiday season and see you at our next meeting!
