February 10, 2018 Club Meeting
As some of you may know, our past president and overall good guy Tony Wu has stepped down after four diligent and enthusiastic years. I’d like to thank him for doing an exceptional job with keeping our club a vibrant organization. I hope to continue by taking the torch and moving forward with inspirational meetings and mini-workshops. Of course if you have any suggestions or concerns, please let your voice be heard so that we can provide a place for camaraderie, learning and enjoyment.
We’re also still looking for someone to fill in a VP position during any absences I might have. If anyone would like to elect themselves, please step forward.
This month we’ll have a presentation by Gainesville, GA adventure photographer Tommy Meyer. I recently happened upon his Instagram page and we became internet amigos. He’s making a long journey to visit, so please try to join us on Saturday February 10 from 2-4pm at the Cullowhee United Methodist Church.
There’s a short online questionnaire to help the club determine its future. Please fill it out HERE.
The theme for the Show & Tell is “Adventure”. Please bring 5 images total on a thumb drive. If you can save them out as full native resolution size as they came from your camera then we can see more details and offer possible suggestions for improving the captures/processing. Please save as either JPG or DNG file format.
Looking forward to new beginnings.
