Larry Perry, National Wildlife Photographer
Larry Perry, a national prize winning wildlife photographer, will be presenting a program that will be educational, informative, fun and probably controversial. The Sylva Photo Club will feature Larry’s presentation on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 2 pm in the Cullowhee Methodist Church, 416 Central Drive on the WCU campus.
Larry is famous for his programs at the Wilderness Wildlife in Pigeon Forge for the last 10 years. He is also well known for his weekly Larry Notes read by some 9800+ photographers all over the southeast. He is a prize winning nature and wildlife photographer, and a popular judge of photo contests at clubs all across the country. Any photographer, novice to professional, will enjoy this afternoon presentation. Larry is always unpredictable at all his presentations.
Show and Tell will follow with the theme of “Cropping”. Members bring three photos cropped three different ways all on a USB to share.
Cost for this special program on October 8th is $5 for members and $7 donation for visitors; (applicable toward membership 2017). Membership to the Sylva Photo Club is a $20 donation per year; $10 for students.
